Restoration Ecology

This practical, applied program prepares students in the field of restoration ecology and it also prepares students for graduate work in fisheries, biology, wildlife management and ecology. Major Learning Outcomes (MLOs)

By the completion of this program, students will be able to:

  1. Implement the scientific method to generate hypotheses, execute data collection, infer results from data, and summarize their findings in both field-based and laboratory studies.
  2. Synthesize findings from published scientific literature, using appropriate citations and references.
  3. Evaluate key concepts, principles, and theories of Restoration Ecology science.
  4. Discuss the  principles of Restoration Ecology as they pertain to global perspectives, ethics and societal issues.
