Through strategic engagement and thoughtful communication, the Office of Institutional Advancement builds meaningful relationships with individuals and organizations committed to supporting the College’s mission.

- $250-$499 Advancement Society
- $500-$999 Defiance Society
- $1,000-2,499 Presidential Circle
Endowed Scholarships
- Whether you want to provide support to students with the greatest financial need or support a secific area, you can tailor your gift.
- Fund a named endowed scholarship
- Minimum amount to endow a scholarship is $25,000
Pass Thru Scholarships
- A pass thru scholarship is not a permanent fund, and is awarded only as long as you (or others) choose to contribute to the fund.
- A donor-advised fund allows donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants from the fund over time.
- Donors can contribute to the fund as frequently as they would like, and then recommend grants to their favorite charitable organizations whenever it makes sense for them.
- Contact your Human Resources Department for more information about matching gift opportunities that could double your gift.
- If yes, and you are giving by mail, request an application form from your company and forward with your gift to Defiance College.
